2-Chuck side-mounted fiber tube laser cutters engineered for heavy-duty performance, stability, and safety.

  • The Caliber C2 positions the chucks and supports from the side, lowering the center of gravity, reducing vibration, increasing precision, and making loading and unloading safer, especially for long or heavy tubes. Built on a fully annealed, steel plate welded frame and treated for internal stress after machining, they deliver lasting structural integrity and cut accuracy. Configurable for 22’ to 40’ maximum tube lengths and 6kW to 30kW of cutting power, the EMP Caliber handle a wide range of profiles including square, round, rectangular, angle iron, H steel, and more.

The EMP Caliber is specifically designed to reduce tailing length, helping manufacturers maximize raw material usage and significantly cut down on waste. Traditional laser tube cutting systems often leave a substantial unprocessed section at the end of each tube, known as the tailing, because of limitations in chuck positioning. With its innovative front-moving chuck design, the cutting head can operate between both chucks, allowing it to cut much closer to the ends. Tail length is reduced to just under 1.4 inches (35mm), allowing for significantly more usable material from each tube.
