A History of Innovation

Foundation

Founded in 2008, EMP Corp. began as a supplier of engraving equipment, providing businesses not only with top-tier machines but also with the installation and training needed to maximize their value. Through years of successful partnerships and satisfied clients, EMP evolved from its beginnings in rotary engraving technology, finding its niche in the laser industry. Focusing on laser engravers and cutters, EMP quickly built a reputation for delivering high-quality equipment, exceptional customer support, and a dedication to innovation that has driven its success.

Strategic Partnerships

EMP later formed a strategic alliance with Aeon Laser, eventually becoming its exclusive U.S. distributor from April 2019 to March 2026. During this period, EMP played a major role in establishing Aeon as one of the most recognized brands in the U.S. CO₂ laser market. Beyond distribution, EMP helped shape the customer experience around the brand through top tier technical support, training, educational content, and community-building initiatives—including partnerships with respected laser educators and industry influencers. This customer-first approach helped create a highly engaged community and lasting brand loyalty among laser users nationwide. EMP also invested heavily in research and development, driving new technologies to make laser systems more user-friendly, reliable, and efficient.

Groundbreaking Achievements in CO₂ Laser Technology

One of EMP’s most notable engineering achievements is the EMP Signature Series—a high-performance CO₂ laser built for professionals who demand faster cycle times, precision motion control, and long-term reliability. Built on the Aeon Redline chassis and upgraded with carefully selected American-made components, the system delivers scan speeds up to 5,000 mm/sec with acceleration up to 15G. Each machine is assembled start-to-finish by a single EMP technician, who signs the machine upon completion as a mark of craftsmanship and accountability.

Innovations

Multi Roller Rotary

Among its notable innovations, EMP launched the Multi Roller, an industry-first tool that enables users to engrave multiple stainless-steel tumblers simultaneously— a significant boost in efficiency and productivity for engravers of all types.

Iris System

The drive to enhance fume extraction led to the development of the Iris System, a pioneering technology that automatically switches between upper and lower extraction zones, providing precise and effective fume management.

Proprietary Products

EMP has a line of proprietary consumable products, including acrylic, wood, faux leather and tumblers. Plus, a collection of supplementary products like a plug-and-play air compressor, hat press, water chiller guard, and wireless networking device.

5-Star Customer Support

EMP Corp is the company behind the customer support and technical service many customers came to know under the Aeon Laser USA name from 2019–2026.

While our partnership with Aeon has concluded, the experienced EMP team remains in place and continues to provide the responsive, knowledgeable support customers have come to expect. The same trusted technicians and support staff who built that reputation are here to assist with troubleshooting, training, applications guidance, and ongoing service.

Recognized in 2025 on Episode 376 of "World's Greatest!..." TV Show for innovation and exceptional domestic customer support, EMP remains committed to helping customers succeed long after their machine is set up.

EMP Corp proudly continues to support Aeon laser owners previously served through Aeon Laser USA, as well as EMP Laser customers operating any EMP Signature Series Laser, EMP Fiber Laser, and EMP UV Laser.

Making Metal Fabrication Accessible

Expanding beyond CO₂ lasers, EMP has ventured into fiber laser technology, introducing fiber marking machines, welders, grinders, and sheet metal cutters. By bringing affordable sheet metal cutting technology to the sign industry and other smaller operations, EMP is opening new revenue streams for smaller shops, making metal fabrication accessible to businesses that once found it out of reach.

Most recently, the team at EMP are innovating custom ultra high power fiber laser tube cutting and plate cutting systems for large scale industrial use. By focusing on making advanced laser technology accessible to businesses of all sizes, EMP continues to shape the future of laser engraving, cutting, welding, and marking.
